As our business continues to grow and expand, its time to finally nail down a few things that every business needs. With that said, I'd like to offer the opportunity to anyone interested to help shape our image.

We are currently in need of two items for the store. While no formal prize is being offered at the moment (details are still forthcoming), at the very least you will get recognition and fame for your work. At the very least you can expect some free merchandise from the store if your work is chosen.

Logo Design

We need a design for the company name "Anime Fan Zone". Just like many other companies, a logo is something that identifies it from other businesses. Think how the golden arches remind you of McDonalds or a certain font makes you remember a company, movie or idea. This logo design will be on documents, signage and virtually everything that the business name will be attached too.

First, a suitable font for the letters "Anime Fan Zone" must be picked. This could be established or created fonts. Even a drawn picture or unique way of writing the letters is acceptable. Show us your ideas. The one major requirement is that this must be easily readable both on documents and signage (such as the main sign on a store front).

Second, pictures or other objects could be used in combination of this Logo. There are no restrictions, so show us your imagination.


Mascots

AFZ is considering mascots for the store. These mascots can be human, animal or anything in between. They will be used to highlight items in the store with signage, used on our website and could be grown into much larger ideas as time goes on.

FIRST to post logo design for all to see. Things can be changed in the picture.

Perhaps a good logo could be the letters AFZ, recognisable but stylised, to create an animé eye from the 3 letters. Animé eyes are possibly the most iconic thing about animé and incorporating it into the logo seems like a cool idea to me. I'm not an artis or designer though, just throwing out my "two cents".
